It's a remarkable story about a courageous little girl named Elena Desserich. She was diagnosed with brain cancer at 5 years old. After getting the news, she left notes and artwork around her home for her parents to find after she was gone.

Her memory lives on through a book entitled "Notes Left Behind", and now her artwork is featured in a special exhibit in the Cincinnati Art Museum next to Picasso. All book sales benefit The Cure Starts Now Foundation, it was founded by Elena's family as a way to benefit cancer research.
