For the last couple of months, the freshman senator from North Carolina has been doing a lot of watching and listening. After all, learning the complexities of the U.S. Senate is a daunting task, and the struggling economy has given Kay Hagan little time to do anything else. In her first extended interview on local TV news, Hagan spoke about Greensboro Industries of the Blind, the stimulus package, the economy and the biggest surprise she's encountered.
