Every year, Greensboro crime scene investigators test hundreds of weapons to see if any have been used in a crime. Investigator Karen Weimorts said when any gun is fired it leaves behind distinctive characteristics, like a fingerprint. Angela Rodriguez looks at the science involved in solving cases.

Detectives tell FOX8 News they have the murder weapon and DNA evidence in the 2002 murder of Alamance County store owner Tom Fogelman. Yet more than seven years later, investigators are still searching for his killer. Angela Rodriguez reports on the case surrounding one of the Piedmont's Most Wanted criminals.
