Authorities in arrested a third man in connection with the November 2007 murder of an Alamance County woman Monday afternoon.
Alamance County sheriff's deputies arrested Matthew Fields, 21, just after 3 p.m. in the Green Level community in Burlington. He is charged with first-degree murder.
Deputies said Sarah Dixon, 68, was shot to death at her McCray Rd. home in November 2007. No motive for the crime has been announced.
Last week, officers arrested Dixon's stepson and another man and charged them with murder.
