HIGH POINT, N.C. - A man who robbed a Wachovia in High Point left behind a personal document that included his name, according to a police news release.

According to police, the suspect walked into the Wachovia branch at 1700 North Main St. shortly before 10:30 a.m. and handed a teller a note that demanded money. After receiving the cash, the man ran out of the bank and was last seen running east.

Police said the suspect was in such a hurry he left a personal document behind.

Officers examined the document and found it contained the suspect's name. After comparing the bank's video footage to a picture of the suspect, detectives identified him as Kelvin James Crosby, 28, of High Point.

Police then obtained warrants for Crosby on charges of common law robbery.

As of shortly before noon Wednesday, Crosby had not been arrested.
