A Lexington man was arrested Thursday on indecent liberties charges with his daughter during a five-year period in the 1980s and his granddaughter during a five-month period earlier this year.
Niles Lee Tysinger, 61, of Riverwood Rd. turned himself in to Davidson County sheriff's detectives Thursday and was jailed on eight charges of indecent liberties with a child against the two alleged victims.
According to the sheriff's office, Tysinger committed several sex offenses against his now-39-year-old daughter between August 10, 1981 and August 9, 1986.
The sheriff's office also said the 39-year-old woman's daughter -- Tysinger's granddaughter -- was also a victim on two separate occasions between May 22 and Oct. 22 of this year.
Tysinger is in the Davidson County jail under a $75,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 14.
