WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.—
Students at Mount Tabor High School were evacuated Tuesday morning after a gas leak was reported in one of the buildings.According to a spokesman for Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools, around 10:45 a.m., students in the 300 building of the high school were taken to the gym, where classes continued. There are about 20 classrooms in the building.
As of 11:30 a.m., the Winston-Salem Fire Department was on the scene but had not determined if there was an actual gas leak.
