BURLINGTON, N.C. -
Burlington Police are searching for a man who stole a woman's purse in the parking lot in front of J.C. Penney at Alamance Crossing Shopping Center in Burlington on Saturday, Dec. 5.
The victim, a 52-year-old woman, said she was walking alone in the parking lot when a male approached her and took her purse. The victim suffered minor injuries after she fell to the ground during the robbery.
The suspect returned to a waiting vehicle and fled the scene. Police are looking for a male in his early 20's driving a burgundy Dodge Stratus.
