HIGH POINT, N.C. (WGHP) -
High Point Police have arrested a man in connection with a rash of home break-ins.
Police said 20-year-old Antione Dwight Powers was arrested and charged with breaking and entering.
Powers was arrested in March and in October after a rash of break-ins in the Laurel Oaks neighborhood in High Point. Investigators say once in jail, the break-ins stopped. According to police, Powers posted bond and the break-ins increased again.
Investigators say the break-ins all occurred in the daytime. Powers took laptops, jewelry and electronics.
Powers is now being held in jail under $156,000 bond.
