A delivery driver was shot near Tillman Avenue late Wednesday night.
Police said the shooting happened near an apartment complex on Tillman Avenue. The victim, a pizza delivery driver, said he was approached for money. When he refused to give anything to the suspect, he was shot once in the back and leg.
The victim, Mujahid Ahmed, drove himself to Fox Pizza and Subs on Bessemer Avenue, where he works, and was then taken to Moses Cone Hospital.
Officers were able to locate and arrest a possible suspect near the scene.
