WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP)—
For working parents, it can be tough finding the right daycare for their children. However, as the population ages, many are struggling to find someone to care for elderly family members during work hours.In Winston-Salem, an adult day care facility has been nationally-recognized as the best. Jean Small, who works at the center, accepted the award over the weekend at the National Day Services Association's national convention.
"It's a challenge to get to be the winner and it will be a challenge to stay that way. We never want to be complacent and take anything for granted. You have to earn awards," said Small.
