UNCG Student Tests Positive for H1N1 Swine Flu Virus
A female UNCG student has tested positive for H1N1 swine flu, according to an e-mail sent by Chancellor Linda Brady to faculty, staff and students.

The student and people she has come in contact with have been treated at the Student Health Services, and the student has been isolated in her off-campus home, the e-mail said.

According to Brady, the student is enrolled in the summer session and attended class yesterday and today. The professor who taught her classes has been notified.

Members of the University's Emergency Preparedness and Response Team have been notified and along with Student Health Services, continue to monitor the situation, the e-mail said. In addition, Student Health Services is coordinating with the Guilford County Health Department.
