On "Science Day," students at Millis Road Elementary School learned that science can be fun, particularly when there are explosions. With the help of scientists from Kimberly Clark in Lexington, students learned the basics of the scientific method and some scientific principles.

Although she's the principal at one of Guilford County's largest high schools, Grimsley's Anna Brady is committed to getting to know her students, their parents and their communities. She does this through events she calls Whirlie Walks.
