Charles Gray Gordon
A man placed under house arrest in connection with a September assault on two men in Trinity has disappeared, according to the Randolph County Sheriff's Office.
Charles Gray Gordon, 41, of Thomasville, was arrested on Sept. 8 on charges of attempted first-degree murder, assault with a deadly weapon, burglary and impersonating a law enforcement officer. The previous day, two men were hospitalized as a result of an assault on Jim Pierce Rd. in Trinity.
Gordon was placed under house arrest, but the sheriff's office now believes Gordon removed his monitoring device and is on the run.
The sheriff's office said Gordon should be considered armed and dangerous.
Seven people face charges in the assault.
