Jack Hanna is one of America's most widely known animal experts. Friday, he toured the Natural Science Center's Animal Discovery of Greensboro.
"I was here about four years ago when this was like a dream," Hanna said.
He was re-united with the gibbons that came from his zoo in Columbus, Ohio.
"In the wild you should see these things swing, it's incredible."
Director Glenn Dobrogosz gave Hanna the tour, and talked about the center's expansion plans.
"Next week we present to the city council a $20 million dollar bond referendum that will build an aquarium the second half of our zoo and completely renovate the science museum," said Dobrogosz "Do a one of a kind type destination in the state ... that's why Jack is back."
