Textile mill villages are an integral part of the Piedmont's history. Two projects are underway to record the heritage of the plants, their workers and families. Each mill village had its own school, its own stores and its own churches, all built by the company. Cone Mills even put the roof over each family's head. Bob Buckley reports on the work being done to preserve this history.
