A high school in Wisconsin is telling its cheerleaders to S-T-O-P certain cheers that might discourage sportsmanship.
Ashland High School's Athletic Director, Linda Olson, is demanding students cheer in accordance to the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association rules for sportsmanship.
This means no cheers that include phrases like "What's the Score?", "Overrated", "Airball", and the infamous "Nah-Nah-Nah-Nah, Hey-Hey-Hey, Goodbye."
The rules also prevent booing of an official's call, waving arms or screaming during a foul shot and throwing any object.
Any student who breaks the rules can be ejected from the game and be suspended from school.
