Man Claims He Was "Screwed" by Town of Cary
A man in Cary was upset and painted a message on his house to display his disagreement with a road project.

"Screwed by the Town of Cary" was painted across the house of David Bowden.

Bowden said the town raised the roadbet and tore up his property during the project. Now, Bowden claims water is damaging his foundation and flooding his crawlspace.

The town contends the water problems is caused by Bowden's gutter system. Town officials say the home has had problems for the past few years.

The writing on the home violates the town's sign ordinance and he could be fined $500 for every day it stays up.
