LEXINGTON, N.C. (WGHP) -
A woman was hit and killed early Wednesday morning just outside Lexington.
The accident happened near East Holly Grove and Turner Road, where I-85 crosses Highway 64. A trooper says the woman may have fallen in front of the car.
The driver of the vehicle, Michael Fortner, is not facing any charges at this time.
Anyone that has any information about the accident should contact the Davidson County Sheriff's Office.
