GREENSBORO, N.C. -
A man who police found shot inside inside a truck in the 2600 block of S. Elm-Eugene St. had actually been shot at a nearby motel, police said Tuesday.
According to police, officers found Bryon Robert Renwick, 43, suffering from a gunshot wound inside a truck around 6 a.m. Tuesday. He was taken to Moses Cone Memorial Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
An investigation revealed the shooting had occurred two blocks away, at the Landmark Inn at 2838 S. Elm-Eugene St.
The body is expected to be taken to the Medical Examiner's Office on Wednesday morning for an autopsy.
Two weeks ago, a man was shot to death in the parking lot of the Landmark Inn. An arrest was made the following day.
