Rockingham County Deputies are searching for suspects possibly tied to multiple robberies across the Piedmont.
A spokesman for the Rockingham County Sheriff's Department says the investigation began near the Red Rooster on Vance Street in Reidsville. Officials said suspicious activity was reported near the convenience store and deputies were called in to investigate.
When officers arrived, a suspect was spotted and a chase ensued.
The suspect later jumped out of his car and ran towards in Mulberry Street in Reidsville.
The suspects were all said to be wearing dark blue jumpsuits with a dark colored ski masks. Dean Venable said other robberies in Reidsville and Eden may be tied to this case.
