GREENSBORO N.C. (WGHP) -
Update: As of 10:30 a.m., water has been restored to residents in the Forest Oaks Community.
Crews in Guilford County are working to restore water to residents in the Forest Oaks Community.
Sometime overnight, water service was shut off to the community. According to Thomas Blalock with Greensboro Water Services, a 16-inch water main that runs beneath Highway 421 near the new bypass broke. Blalock said the line was a temporary line.
Blalock said crews hope to have water restored by 10 a.m.
