GREENSBORO, N.C. - Black Friday bargain hunting turned ugly at a Toys "R" Us in Greensboro after line-jumping and some scuffling led to arrests early Friday morning.

The Toys "R" Us in Greensboro opened their doors at midnight Friday, and a line of people had formed down High Point Road waiting to take advantage of Black Friday deals.

But when the doors finally opened, Zaneta Boyd and her sister-in-law Chelsea Bowers say the line turned into an unruly mob.

"Everybody just swarmed. People that was pulling in, they were jumping out the car, running to the door." said Boyd.

Boyd says that she and her sister-in-law tried to move closer to the door, but people that had been waiting for hours outside were not willing to let people in ahead of them.

"He pushed me first, and his wife was able to reach over his head and hit me. I was like, 'How does she get away with that?'" Boyers said.

Bowers says she and Boyd yelled at the couple for shoving.

"She was like, 'man, it's not that serious over toys,' and he was like 'yes the 'f' it is you 'n'.'" Boyd said.

Soon after, they say a Greensboro police officer pulled them out of line and arrested them.

"He takes my hand and twists it behind my back and I pulled away from him. Because he was twisting my arm and I was telling him 'I'm pregnant, you need to stop.' He slammed me on the car." Boyd said.

Bowers is charged with resisting a public officer. Boyd is facing the same charge along with disorderly conduct.

"He said 'if you push, you will be arrested.' They pushed me, they assaulted me and yet I'm the one to get in trouble." Boyers said.

The Greensboro Police Department and Toys "R" Us both declined to comment.

As for Boyd and Bowers, this was their first and last time shopping on Black Friday.

"Just saving some money can bring that out of people, just animals basically." Boyers said.

Both women have a court date at the end of December, but they think the officers could have handled their situation better and they want the case reviewed.
