GREENSBORO, N.C.—
A few students and staff at UNCG have tested positive for tuberculosis, but none appear to be contagious, the Guilford County Department of Public Health announced Wednesday, a week after a student was diagnosed with signs and symptoms of TB.According to the health department, the initial student remains hospitalized and is undergoing treatment.
The health department said those students are not contagious and do not need to be isolated. Those students will be offered an an antibiotic for free as a precautionary measure.
